Parents consider your cake smash photoshoot as a fun tipe with your toddler. Let the photographer worry about getting the shots. This is a new experience for your toddler most probably and will appreciate the partner ( parent) in crime along side him or her.
It will get messy. Bring extra sets of clothing for everyone involved. If this is the toddlers first experience with sugar things might get very intresting. It might end up that everyone is tired or running around like crazy.
